Ladies’ Night to benefit medical center foundation

The seventh annual Bomgaars Ladies’ Night promises festive fun and fall shopping Sunday, Oct. 23, from 5 to 8 pm at the Jefferson location. Everyone is encouraged to put on a Halloween costume while taking advantage of a 20 percent discount on much of their regular-priced merchandise. Attendees can also win giveaways or Bomgaars gift cards.

Each year, 5 percent of the total sales during Ladies’ Night are donated to a local hospital or cancer center in the communities Bomgaars serves. In Jefferson, the Greene County Medical Center Foundation has been selected to receive the 2022 donation, which will be distributed in December. The money raised will be used to support cancer patients, for equipment or other oncology-related needs.

“Thank you for supporting Greene County Medical Center cancer patients while also creating more awareness of cancer, the needs of the patients and their families and the medical facilities providing care,” said medical center Foundation Director, Nancy Houska. “The Bomgaars Corporation and our local Jefferson Bomgaars store have been very generous in their donations from this fun night out for a cause, and we sincerely appreciate their continued support.”

In the first year of Ladies’ Night, the 21 participating locations donated more than $18,000. In 2021, more than $104,000 was distributed to 106 locations. Everyone is encouraged to mark their calendars and join in the fun while helping with the tremendous, continued growth of this event.
